West Kendall is the fastest growing residential and business community in Miami-Dade County.  As of 2005, our community had over 4900 businesses with over 41,000 employees.  Truly an entrepreneurial and small business environment, 74% of our businesses had 4 or less employees, 12% had 5 - 9 employees and 7% had 10 – 19 employees.

In the past few years, the West Kendall business community has grown by leaps and bounds. Due to this enormous growth, West Kendall has altered traffic patterns and the usual mindset of most of its residents. They no longer have to head east for great businesses, restaurants, shopping centers, golf courses, hotels, schools, colleges and universities and many other resources.  Not to forget, at the center of it all, is our own Tamiami Airport, which serves as a hub for international business travel and has a huge economic impact in the area. The West Kendall area has truly become self-sufficient and still growing.
