Membership Luncheons with Keynote Speeches

Monthly luncheons are held on the last Thursday of the month at Signature Gardens. Each meeting features a guest speaker invited to discuss business-related subjects or community awareness issues. Monthly meetings are an important part of West Kendall Business Association and attendance offers excellent networking opportunities. Guests and employees of our members are always welcome.

Health and Wellness Expo and 5th Annual Business Expo – that’s right, now there are two expos that will give you the opportunity to showcase your business to over 1,000 attendees! This year, WKBA will host a Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday, April 10th from 9am – 2pm at Signature Gardens. With the growing interest in all things health and wellness, this expo will draw a diverse group of attendees from all over Miami. We have exhibitors coming from as far away as New York! Don’t miss this exciting new opportunity! Any type of business can participate!

Annual Business Expo
The West Kendall Business Expo is held annually in October. This year the Expo will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 3 pm – 8 pm at Signature Gardens. Always a sold-out event which attract over 1000 attendees, this is an outstanding opportunity for members to showcase their businesses to the community.

Website Advertising – new for 2010! Purchase a monthly ad that will appear on all of the main pages of the website for only $100 per month.

Luncheon Showcase Sponsor - Members who want to maximize their exposure and showcase their business can sponsor a monthly luncheon. The Luncheon Showcase Sponsor has a display table inside the luncheon area, has exclusivity for placing marketing materials on each luncheon attendee chair and has the opportunity to make a five minute presentation about their business. Luncheon Table Showcase – new for 2010! In addition to the opportunity to be the luncheon sponsor, you will now have the opportunity to purchase one of four tables that will be located near the check-in area during each luncheon. You can set up your table at 11 am and be ready to showcase your business before and after the luncheon to the 120 – 140 guests that attend.

2010 Membership Directory – in addition to your member listing in the directory, you have the opportunity to advertise here. Last year we distributed 1,000 full color directories and this year we may distribute more. Remember, we give these to our guests, hand them out at events and expos – exposing your business to many people!

Increased Perks for Members – we value our members and we are always looking for new way to reward and benefit them.

Monthly Member Spotlight – new in 2010! Beginning in February 2010, during the raffle held at our monthly luncheon, we will draw a member’s name from those present at the luncheon. The lucky winner will be featured in our new WKBA newsletter with their logo or picture, a few words about their business and a link to their company website.

Office Depot Corporate Discount Program – new in 2010! We have arranged with Office Depot to provide our members – regardless of the size of your business – with access to their Corporate Discount Program. Community Involvement

The WKBA is always looking for ways to support our local community. This year we have established a Community Outreach committee to expand and build upon our work with the community. We are always open to your suggestions on how we become more involved.
